It featured a comic strip with brothers Dub & Bub (replaced by Pud in 1950). It grew in popularity and was even included in World War II rations for the military. It sure is nice to have the comfort of Dubble Bubble in your mouth while on the battlefield. Today, Dubble Bubble is a brand produced by Concord Confections makers of the Tootsie Roll. These Mini Gumballs featured in the lesser known Rick Moranis film ‘Honey, I shrunk the gumballs.”
